S-Boatflotillas 1939 - 1945 1. S-Flotilla Initially formed as 1. UZ (S) Halbflottille, renamed 1932 1. Schnellbootshalbflottille and 1935 renamed 1. Schnellbootsflottille. Operation areas:
Decomposed 29.08.1944 after scuttling of the last four boats, newly formed in the Baltic on September 15th 1944.
2. S-Flotilla Formation 01.08. 1938. Operation Areas:

The Flotilla was subordinate to the 1. S-Boat-Division as of summer 1943. She was disbanded on 13.10.1944 and formed the 1. Group of the newly formed 3. SFltl. 4. S-Flotilla Formation October 1st 1940. Operation Areas:

Decomposed October 15th 1943. The personnel was transferred to 24. SFltl. Newly formed September 1st 1944 in the Baltic under temporary command of Kptlt. Bludau, decomposed April 1945. As part of the flotilla "S 170" and "S 208" as test-vehicles for the new MB 518-motors were noted.
21. S-Flotilla Formed September 1943 with LS-Boats. After loss of all boats decomposed December 12th 1944. Operation Area:
The Flotilla looses al boats until October 12th 1944 and is disbanded. The personnel marching northward is employed in land-battles at times.
22. S-Flotilla Formed November 1943 with LS-Boats and Italian loot-boats. Operation Area:
All boats are handed over to Crotia as of SEptmber 15th 1944. The flotilla is decomposed.
24. S-Flotilla Formed November 1943 with Italian Loot-Boats
The flotilla was decomposed on October 25th 1944 and formed the 3. Group of the newly formed 3. SFltl. 1. Schnellbootsdivision
The 1. S-Bootsdivision was formed on October 13th 1944. Subordinate to it was the 3. SFltl (Kptlt. Schulz Günther) with three groups: 1. Group (ex 3. SFllt)
2. Group (ex 7. SFltl)
3. Group (ex 24. SFltl)
Schnellbootschul-Flottille In 1942 a Schnellboots-Schulflotilla was established at Swinemünde.
Schnellbootslehrdivision
Subordinate to S-Boots-Lehrdivision were three Schnellbootsschulflotillas and the 1. Schnellbootlehr-Department. (School-Flotillas), of which the 1. S-Schul-Fltl was transferred to Norway in January 1945 nach Norwegen (based at Egersund) and the2. S-Schul-Fltl from early 1945 was employed in minewarfare in the Baltic and in evacuation of refugees and the Kurlandarmy.
1. Schnellboots-Schul-Flottille Formed 01.11.1943 at Stettin. Begleitschiff "Adolf Lüderitz".
The flotilla with "S 62", "S 79", "S 86", "S 89", "S 109", and "S 133" was transferred to Egersund/Norway in January 1945. 2. Schnellboots-Schul-Flottille Formed in April 1944 at Stettin. Begleitschiff "Tsingtau".
The flotilla with "S 64", "S 69", "S 76", "S 81", "S 83", "S 99", S 117", and "S 135" was employed in minewarfare in the eastern Naltic from 1945 and was involved in the evacuation of refugees and the Kurland Army.
