Laid up S74 "Nerz" and S77 "Dachs" Reconstruction
On February 29th 2012 S74 "Nerz" and S77 "Dachs" were decommissioned at Marinearsenal Wilhelmshaven. The chairman of Förderverein Museums-Schnellboot, Kalle Scheuch, and his deputy, Klaus Heidemann, were preent at the ceremony.

"Lower Flag and Pennant" - Picture: K. Heidemann Both boats were laid up at Marinearsenal Wilhelmshaven and served as sparepart-stores for the Navy. 2015 both boats were sold by VEBEG to Emder Werft und Dock GmbH. They were towed to Emden in December 2015 and were laying there intended to be reconstructed to private Yachts.

All Superstructures of ex S74 "Nerz" are removed October 2023 - Picture: Andreas Engel 2023 and 2024 not much happened with the two boats besides of the removal of the superstructures of S74 "Nerz". Upon a inquiry it came to knowledge of Förderverein Museums-Schnellboot "77 " Dachs" was towed to the boatyard of Searex Germany GmbH (former BALTEC-boatyard) end of March/early April 2025. The shipyard is said to reconstruct the boat as a private yacht with two smaller motors than the MTU MA 16-V-956 with 4000 PS each. An inguiry of Förderverein Museums-Schnellboot, whether the associations could get one of the propellers was answered with: In two years time we shall know more since the technical solution is not known exactly at the time being.
