S-Boats in the Polish Navy 1957 - today

 

S-Boats Wisla-Class (Project 664)

 

The Polish Navy had eight torpedoboats (Project 664 - NATO Code WISLA) to be built according to a Polish design from 1970 until 1974 bythe shipyard  Stocznia Pólnocna, Gdánsk. The boats served with the 3. Ship-Flotilla until the 80s and all were broken up besides of one.

The boats were assigned the hull-numbers and name as follows:

Specials

The construction of the boats was conducted somewhat hesitant and the first four boats were already broken up until 1984. While all other boats were broken up ORP "Odwazny" (458) was kept at the White Eagle Museum at Skarźyslo-Kamienna (Central-Poland).
