S-Boats in the Polish Navy 1957 - today

 

S-Boats Tarantul-Class (Project 1241 RÄ)

 

Starting 1992 the Polish Navy got three Small Missile Ships Project 1241 RÄ as enhancement of the strength and modernization of the Missile Forces from Soviet production lines with the NATO codename TARANTUL. These boats were able to fire missiles  P 21 (Radar-Search-Head) and P 22 (IR-Search-Head).

The Boats got the Hull-numbers and names as folows:
