S-Boat Class 147 (Gun-S-Boat)

Based upon the hull of the S-Boat Class 145 and upon the projected propulsion thereof a Gun-S-Boat with two alternating weapon fits was designed.

The S-Boat Class S 147a was projected with: 2 x 76mm OTO Melara, the S-Boat Class S 147b with: 1 x 76 mm OTO Melara forward and 1 x 40mm twin MK astern. For both solutions the alternate firecontrolsystems M 22 and Vega-Pollux were studied.

Also for this type of boat it was true that the first boats would not have been ready to be put to sea before 1976.
