S-Boats in the Kriegsmarine 1935 - 1945

 Markings in the 2. S-School-Fltl  

In the School-Flotillas it was usual to mark the boats with serial letters or numbers.

When the boats of the 2. S-Boat-School-Flotilla were employed in the eastern Baltic 1944 they got the coat-of-arms of the city of Stettin as a common flotilla-coat-of-arms on the hull under the scull-bridge and the initials of the commanding officers on the scull-bridge and on the stern.
