"T 3" and "T 4"

I 1939 ordered Sweden from Vosper Ltd. two 60'-boats which were commissioned as "T 3" and "T 4" (T = Torpedbåt).

Specialities

The boats were used as test-vehicles for gasturbine-propulsion from 1952 until 1959. Thereafter they were used as target-vehicles until 1963.
